Currently, CIT has 4 provincial-level key construction disciplines, namely, mechanical engineering, software engineering, electrical engineering, and civil engineering. It also has 4 provincial-level laboratories/public service platforms, 8 municipal key laboratories, 3 social sciences research think tanks, 9 school-enterprise cooperative engineering technology centers, 8 municipal engineering technology centers. There are over 1,247,200 paper books, 2,830,000 e-books, 8,000 e-journals, and 29 databases in the library. The Journal of Changzhou Institute of Technology and the Journal of Changzhou Institute of Technology (social sciences) are published by CIT.
