Professor Bulent Acma and Dr. Altan Onat from Anadolu University, Turkey Visited CIT for Teaching and Academic Research Exchange

 From June 4 to 6, Professor Bulent Acma from the School of Economics and Management Science and Dr. Altan Onat from the School of Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Anadolu University, Turkey visited CIT for teaching and academic research exchange.

    Prof. Acma gave a lecture entitled ‘Ecotourism’ at CIT’sSchool of Economics and Management. In the lecture he utilized a case study of Anatolia, an area in Southern Turkey, to analyze the policies and measures carried out for the sustainable development of ecotourism. In addition, Prof. Acma later joined in a discussion with teachers from the School of Economics and Management. Both sides exchanged ideas on the star enterprises, industries distribution, regional economic characteristics, and research into the development of economics in China and Turkey.

   Dr. Altan Onat gave two lectures at the School of Electrical and Photoelectrical Engineering, entitled respectivelyModel Based Condition Monitoring Approaches for Railway Vehicles and Optimal Parameterization of Adhesion and Creep Force Models for Railway Vehicles. In his lectures, Dr. Onat introduced the development history of railway vehicle systems, the dynamic simulation of railway vehicles, the monitoring method of railway vehicle system conditions as well as the evaluation and testing of railway vehicle dynamic systems with Kalman Filters, bringing great inspirations for teachers and students.
