On May 15, the 2-member delegation, led by Dr. George T. Sipos, Senior Director, International Education, State University of New York – Brockport, U.S. visited CIT. Cao Yuping, Secretary of the CIT Committee of the CPC and Tang Zhenghua, Deputy Secretary of the CIT Committee of the CPC and Vice-President of CIT met the guests.

Leaders and some teachers from the School of Economics and Management, School of Education and Humanities, and Department of International Exchange and Cooperation attended the meeting and discussed cooperation between the two institutions.

In the meeting with the School of Economics and Management, both sides briefly introduced their respective institutions re: history, size, disciplines, international programs, international students’ education, etc. They summarized and reviewed their previous cooperation and had detailed discussions about joint programs in the fields of credit recognition programs, postgraduate programs, and cooperation with business enterprises, etc.

At the meeting with the School of Education and Humanities, the two sides agreed to jointly carry out cooperation in areas such as international cooperation, online courses, short-term student exchange, etc. They promised to take action and begin cooperating as soon as possible. After the meeting, the delegation members toured the school.
