in Zheng, Deputy Dean of the School of International Cooperation, and Zhang Kan, Deputy Director of the library, signed an agreement on jointly setting up a reading room in order to make full use of the library's resources and provide more comprehensive and diversified services for international students. On the afternoon of November 11, an opening ceremony for the reading room was held in the library.

At the ceremony, Library Director Chu Yunfeng introduced the library’s basic situation, relevant regulations and requirements for book borrowing to international student representatives from the perspective of Cultural Heritage and Communication. He hopes that international students will take the opportunity to use the reading room and make full use of the library in their study and life, cultivate their interest in reading, enrich their extra-curricular life, while striving to build an international scholarly campus.

It was reported that before the ceremony, the library carefully selected more than 100 books for international students to borrow based on their Chinese language ability, mode of thinking, hobbies, etc. The library will also regularly replace old books with new books and provide various reading promotion activities for international students.
