Recently, Changzhou Institute of Technology won 12 awards, 1 for second prize, 8 for third prize and 3 for the excellent team prize, in the provincial evaluation of the 2020 graduation projects (theses) for undergraduates according to the evaluation result released by Jiangsu Provincial Department of Education.
Graduation projects (theses) are a comprehensive assessment of undergraduates’ knowledge, capability and quality as an important link to undergraduate talent development. Committed to the first-class application-oriented talent development, CIT requires that all graduation projects (theses) should keep oriented to economic and social demands, abreast of the latest development tendency and connected with social practice, with focus placed on the development of undergraduates’ abilities to address practical problems with what they have learnt.
In 2020, the sudden outbreak of COVID-19 brought great challenges to the work of graduation projects (theses). Based on the reality and guided by the principle of “people first”, CIT flexibly combined online and offline approaches to conduct the work and successfully complete the 2020 graduation projects (theses).
